Dear Friends,

On May 21, 2011 I am cycling in Wounded Warrior Projectís (WWP) Soldier Ride Charlotte. It is my personal goal to raise funds to support our wounded servicemen and women of our nationís armed forces, and you can help me reach this goal! You can sponsor me by clicking on the website listed below.

If you prefer to send a check, please make it payable to Wounded Warrior Project, and mail the check to: Wounded Warrior Project, 7020 AC Skinner Parkway, Suite 100, Jacksonville, FL 32256. Important note: please indicate on the memo portion of the check the donation is for Soldier Ride, the city where the ride takes place, and my name. Example: Soldier Ride Tampa, John Smith.

Funds raised support the programs and services of WWP, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors. Thousands of wounded warriors and caregivers receive support each year through WWP programs designed to nurture the mind and body, and encourage economic empowerment. WWP is dedicated to fostering the most successful well-adjusted generation of wounded warriors in our nationís history.

Together, I know we can make a difference in the life of a wounded service member.

Again, thank you for your support.
PS - Please forward to anyone who might be interested in helping this cause.

Update 05/24/2011

Greetings Friends!
Just wanted to give you an update on my ride for Wounded Warriors.  I completed the 28 mile ride - well, for me 29 miles b/c I got lost once :) - on Saturday.  It was truly an inspiring event.  Below are some links to news stories from the local press on the event.
Thank you to everyone who has donated so far!  I will continue to raise funds until June 20th.  Check out my site (link below) for a picture of me post ride.  Even $20 makes a difference for this great cause.
I hope that everyone is doing well and that you have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.  Please remember those who have served and sacrificed for our country.
My best,
